Strive For Serviam

Gateway House is a purpose-built residential in Toowoomba where up to 5 young people aged 16– 17 can be accommodated (Young people aged 14 -15 may be accommodated in emergency situations) for up to 3 months.

 

Accommodation and support include:
 

• 24 hour live-in youth workers

• Meals and basic material needs

• Personal / emotional support

• Case management

• Assistance to gain personal identification documentation including Birth Certificates

• Assistance to access appropriate Centrelink payments

• Living skills including budgeting, cooking, health and hygiene

• Recreational activities including art, sport and day trips

• Assistance to find long term stable accommodation

• On-going outreach support after residents leave Gateway House (as required)
